Work Experience Coordinators of Oregon (WECO), is a professional organization of educators, Co-op coordinators, and career guidance counselors who encourage the development and improvement of work-based learning and represent the State of Oregon as an active member in the region, and coordinated with national standards, in matters pertaining to Cooperative Education.

Cooperative Education

Cooperative Education (Co-op) integrates on-the-job work experience with academic studies where students earn graded credit for working full-time or part-time in positions related to their career goals.

Co-op builds partnerships between schools and the business community and enhances students' connections to leaders in their chosen career areas. Employers gain eager and aspiring employees who are ready to test their new learning in a real work position.
